Okay, so yeah, Jacob pulled everyone into a skype chat and told them to vote him out. Kinda fitting for his whole story arch.

It's VERY fitting yet it's really sad to see him go. I do LOL at the fact that almost everyone has said they hate voting him out but it's probably best for their game in the long run. So hilarious.
Also, I canNOT wait for his iSurv1vor interview. You know that shit is gonna be GOOD.

Question for billiam: I know how your policy is about TC answers. How would you answer this TC's question of "Who is the biggest threat?" bc I am noticing that everyone is avoiding the question. Kirin knows I hate shitty TC answers. In a game with more clear cut sides, I wouldn't be afraid to say a name of someone strong in the other group because then you can tell them privately it's out of respect. This game is hard cuz things are muddy, so I'm not ragging on their answers too hard, but I would at least try to change up my answer if people above me had already said the same thing. Using that question space to talk about some pros and cons of multiple players might be the best way to handle that question in an interesting way.

I disagree with Jacob's arc reaching it's climax with him asking to be voted out, if anything it's so anti climactic it feels like he's wasted a spot that could've easily gone to somebody else. Whilst you can forgive real life commitments he is just emotionally wrapped up in wanting everything going his way and then when it doesn't he just cried about it.
He had a guaranteed seat at the final, the majority of people wanted him there as a goat and now his swansong will be throwing the necklace at Sassy thus giving her horrible exposure.

I mean, in all seriousness I don't agree. I said awful things about the entire Canada cast, I said awful things about Evan and that Alyssa thing, I said awful things about most of the heroes, and nobody ever said I "took it too far?" And that's basically because, a) I was 100% RIGHT in everything I said, and b) None of those people really had any fans anyway. I was popular and so nobody cared. Andrew Payne said things worse than me and Kurtis combined, lul, and he was beloved. Kurtis is not as beloved, he has his fans but he has had people hating on him here from the beginning. It's not a matter of "what he's saying is wrong," it's "what he's saying is wrong about people I like AND I don't like him." Which is totally fine, but this does happen like every season and only some people get backlash/called out on it. Kurtis and Jacob are at different ends of the emotional game, Jacob is/was very invested and became frustrated when things didn't go his way (See the John vote) whilst Kurtis is very aware that this is just an internet game with no monetary value so he's more prone to acting selfish and being more of the narrator of the game. You can see it with the Bryan puzzle reference, he makes memorable quotes be they bad or good but he knows what buttons to push in order for people to do things his way or get the desired reaction. Some things are a bit harsh but he's fully in control of his emotions and knows where the moral line is drawn.

I just want to say that I, for one, am excited about the Jacob quit. Before anyone gets upset by that, let me explain why: - Sassy can start to spread her wings and take control of her own game a bit more. Up to now, she has been pigeon-holed next to Jacob and in a way, I feel like she partially started to mimic his game. She had some sparks of brilliance at times, but ultimately she resorted to playing more emotionally and attacking people similarly (albeit not as viciously) to Jacob. With him gone, people know that her best ally is out of the game and that she is vulnerable. People will be more willing to rope her in and work with her now, as they will feel like she will be more approachable now. She will no longer be targeted as a way to break up some of Jacob's power in the game. With the thought of Jacob leaving, she has already begun to do damage control with people like Billy - and it is working! Here's to hoping that Sassy will deliver on the promise she showed earlier in the game.
- Billy is safe. I know what some of you are thinking: "Biased much?" To be honest, I think this works out better for all the Rich-haters in this alumni section. Players have been toying with the idea of voting off either Billy or Rich this round, but leaning towards voting for Rich and enlisting Billy to help them oust Bryan in the next round. This way, we lose neither Billy nor Bryan just yet and that will please most of you. The last few rounds have been shaping up to be a Bryan vs Rich showdown. With both these players being the next targets on almost everyone's lists anyway, it will be fun to see who picks which side and whether or not the victor can regroup and change the future of this game.
- Jacob's exit blows the game wide-open and there is a potential for us to see some new alliances, consisting of a combination of players that seemed hilariously unlikely before, to emerge and ride through to the end. This season has been phenomenal since episode 6 (the TQ boot episode) and with an unpredictable event such as this, and the potential for the season to become even more unpredictable in the next few rounds, makes it really fun for me to watch. I have likened this season to Survivor: Philippines in my own mind before (weak premerge, strong and unpredictable postmerge, good mixture of likable and unlikable characters, original tribal lines not as much of an issue postmerge) and it continues to draw me in.
There is another issue that will make things a lot more interesting: The Message In The Bottle...
I want to hear from you guys what you think the message might contain and how it will influence the strategies of the players...

So, what is the iS policy on quitters? Do they get second chances, or is it like the actual show where CBS, Mark Burnett and Jeff Probst will not even consider inviting a quitter back for a second shot?
Also: Does Jacob get to vote in the final tribal council, or does he get replaced by TQ? This is the first time I am seeing someone quit iS three rounds into the merge, so I am pretty curious to know what Sandy's stance on these things are.

It should be a quit if TC gets scrapped.

An organized vote out is different than quitting tho.

And yeah, I wouldn't invite Jacob back for a second season strictly because it appears he gave up. Jacob has told me once in the past that he felt like quitting, but wouldn't just leave the game, and would ask people to vote him out. He didn't follow thru with this plan a few weeks ago, but it seems like now it came to fruition. For not just up and leaving, and actually getting votes cast against him - letting it all play out as it should, I don't see a reason for him not to be on jury or anything like that.
Edit: If someone does not show up and fulfill their responsibilities as a juror, then of course first dibs goes to TQ. This has happened a few times in the past.
