I agree with that. I have no clue what was actually said in past seasons, but it's definitely true that people usually only stand for up against comments of their favourite players and let other comments slide. I'm for sure like that, just like many people are. Just putting that on record.

What I find annoying about Kurtis' confessional (who, I don't find to be a bad person outside of the context of this game) is that his comments always have to be from the perspective that he's kinda above this game or above the other people in it and it's off-putting.

If his jokes, and at the moment I'm referring to his comments about Bryan, are coming from a place of love and sweet jabs then I get it. That kind of humor doesn't read well in a confessional, though, and as it stands it reads like a low blow. Am I just sensitive because it's Bryan? Maybe. Maybe I'm just a "prude" because I don't really like it when people try to expose what they see as negatives about people to get a laugh in a confessional. I also admit that I'm sensitive to it because he made a joke about me to TQ that was put into TQ's confessional that I didn't really appreciate. I openly admit that I don't have the same sense of "what's enjoyable" in a game as everyone here. That's ok, though, I don't mind. As long as we can all express how we feel about it; sorry Sandy that I don't agree with you.

None of that makes him a bad game player. He's doing a great job with his social game with this cast, and I won't be shocked if he wins. Additionally, I won't be shocked if any of the players in the game care at all about any of this after the season. It just makes it hard for me to cheer for him while the game is going on.

Oh yeah, nothing Kurtis has said has really been THAT bad. I just kinda feel like every time I start to root for him in the game he makes some off-handed comment that doesn't make me HATE him, just re-sours my taste for him this season.

He's def a lovable villain. I just don't root for villains.

Bill is clearly a #hero in the making. I randomly now remember being outraged when I was picked as a villain instead of a hero for HvV . Although I wonder how much of that stemmed from being on a tribe with Stickman and Bud.

I also don't think a virgin is... really an insult, I guess? I lol'd at the quote but Kurtis didn't go far enough. He should have gone much further & been much more ~vicious~. If somebody had called me a virgin back in like, Canada when I was one (granted I was like 16 but w/e) I would have just giggled and moved on like I'm sure Bryan will.
