Seven little Tenochtitlan's chopping up sticks; One chopped himself in halves and then there were six. Come on in, guys. Today you will all play a challenge that has been used periodically throughout the show. But before we get down to business, there is something each of you must do:BEFORE WE BEGIN * You will need to pick a colour on the grid below. Once you choose your colour, you may not change it. * We have determined which colour will be the starting colour ( player #1) through random.org * The order will only be revealed once all players have assigned themselves a colour. * As you can see this challenge was intended for 6 players. Rules will be adjusted accordingly to accommodate 4 players.
RULES
Players will start this challenge at a coloured block on the grid pictured above. Each player will then move from their colored block on the grid to another block on the grid. Use MS Paint, to trace your moves on the grid image using your corresponding colour. Once player #1 has made their move, uploaded and posted the grid image with their move in the challenge thread, it will then be player #2's turn turn to do the same thing. Follow this pattern for the entire challenge.
The point is, is to try and be the last player standing. Once a path is crossed, it cannot be crossed again by any player in the game. Each player can only move from the block in which they ended their previous move (examples below). Eventually, people will have no moves to make, thus, they'll be eliminated from the challenge.
The last player standing wins immunity.
EXAMPLES
These pictures are examples of how you may move in the game. These are round #1 and round #2 examples:
Round #1 Round #2
NOT SO FAST
You didn't think it was going to be that easy, did you? We are going to make this challenge a little more interesting. Scattered on this board are 7 mystery tiles. These tiles contain powers that will serve as either an advantage or disadvantage in this challenge. To make things even more interesting, some of these will allow you to affect other players in this challenge. These tiles will be revealed, along with their power once a player moves onto a mystery tile.
Some of these powers are to be used immediately, unless otherwise stated.
Additional Hint: The center tile with the question-mark contains a mystery power. Getting to it first may be advantageous, but it might also hinder your long-term game if other players leave you little room for future moves on your way there. - so choose your approach to this challenge wisely.
CHOOSING A COLOUR
In order to choose your colour, copy the following List, add your name next to it and post it below. If someone posts before you, copy their post and assign yourself an unassigned colour. The two colors left unselected will not be part of the challenge.
- Blue - [player name]
- Green - [player name]
- Red - [player name]
- Orange - [player name]
- Grey - [player name]
- Pink - [player name]
