Episode #4 Popularity Poll
After an impressive run with his challenge performance the pug loving John became our Player of the Week with 16.18% of the vote. But as we've seen, nobody retains this title two weeks running.
As the tribes dwindle and we unintentionally ruin the hopes and dreams of our remaining fourteen, your votes will also become smaller and more important. From now on you have just four votes to distribute among the remaining players.
Some statistics moving forward (stat nerd, love it!)
1. John is the only player to progressively earn more of the vote than any other person 2. In all the times he's been available to be voted, Rich has always remained at 0% 3. T.J., Billy and Bryan are the only castaways to have always secured double digit percentages.
This time I'd like for you guys to give something back, if we had running popularity polls where do you think you would stand in your original season?

John <3 But I won't vote until the tribes are divided and we can see more of the interactions since that could really change the dynamics and who is in a good position. I did, however, want to answer this gem:

I think in Arabia I would have been near the top, everyone absolutely adored me in the Alumni area. So, I might have won MVP a couple of times, or been at least near the top of the polls up until my awful demise at hands of one awful Taylor Street. On Montenegro... maybe pre-game I would have had some support, but once the game started I would be close to pulling a Rick because I was so whiny/emotional/annoying and the few people who could have rooted for me were playing the game as well. Maybe I would have gotten a pity vote here and there though, from Corey mostly.

I keep switching based on the things people say, and how well they explain their thought processes. Also, people who make an effort in confessionals and a fair attempt at the challenges. If someone strategizes, or at least talks about things they may do in the future, I warm to them.
Also, I always vote for Sassy.

I have more people that I want to vote for for MVP than ever and now we have one less vote! I'm still waiting to see who takes control in the tribe that loses this IC. I have my eye on Billy, Bryan, Cody, John, Kurtis, TJ, and TQ. Sassy and Jacob are in the running for my lol vote-of-the-week.

This episode is showing some real shifts in dynamics. Players who we didn't see much from previously are starting to assume larger roles, while the bigger characters could find themselves in trouble. Joe is a surprise package and is lobbying hard in solidifying a new alliance. So far, he seems to be the ringleader on New Aguila. Conversely, everyone is growing fearful of Kurtis and his double-dealings are becoming a huge talking point among his new tribe mates. If they lose, we might well see the biggest blindside in the game so far... My top three votes remain for John, Cody and Billy. So far I am debating giving TQ, Joe, Bryan or T.J. my remaining votes, but I want to see a little more of the dynamic...

He he... this is a fun one. In iS: Congo, I think I would have placed somewhere in the middle of the popularity polls in the preseason vote - largely due to nobody knowing who the fuck I was (My first ever ORG and all) and my only saving grace being that my application was pretty well received at the time. Early on in the game, I think I would have been very unpopular (my joke about using Jose's Kelly Clarkson fandom as an excuse to vote him out if need be and the way I mocked Kwele in my confessionals may have come across very Kurtis-ish), but I would have gained some favor after I warmed to almost everyone in the game, my epic blindsides of Ian and Hash - as well as me successfully leading the charge against Brandon. Ultimately, I think I might have very narrowly made top 5 or top 6. I know a lot of people were ecstatic to see me get the axe and I think they hated my game. My exit was great for the season and it is still seen as a favorite blindside. I still think that despite the fact that I played a smart strategic game, was a solid performer in most of the challenges (not all) and was well-liked by the cast - more people wanted to see me fail, rather than succeed. Dave and Jose would have been the fan-favorites hands-down.

Hmmm... I wasn't too popular in Hawaii at first, then moved up a little and plateaued. Is that how you spell it? Plateaued? What a weird-looking word. My biggest fans were Morgan and Taylor.

Retracted the Kurtis vote, sloppy mistake. Threw it on Zavi aka the Slovapprentice.

My votes are currently on Bryan / TJ / John / Zavi. The first two I think are playing the exact same middle of the road game at the moment, and no ones even looking at targeting either of them. I'm glad they are on opposite tribes to see if either will change up their game style. Though why change something that isn't broken? While John has a target on his back thanks to Cody still being upset from a previous game, he still has a strong grasp of the game. With Kurtis' fuck up / lack of activity from other players on his team. He should be fine. Zavi for being adorable as always. aww. Also, I think I would have won a few MVPs in Congo.
