1. In a rare turn of events, we had a player be pulled from the game. What are your thoughts on Dashon being "medically evacuated" out of New La Arana?
Let’s all be honest… who the hell is Dashon!? I will admit I thought he was cute for a while, but then I realized he was 16… then I decided I wanted to keep my teaching job so I dropped that rather quickly. I do wonder how he managed to cheat seeing as the challenge was a complete fail, I can’t imagine he got in trouble for breaking challenge rules. Maybe he was chatting with an alumni who is watching the game? Honestly it probably didn’t matter much… because I know what is happening with the other tribe FAR more than my own tribe, I know he or Slayer would’ve been gone anyway, so no huge loss. It’s MORE interesting to me that I guess Sassy and Jacob totally freaked out because Slayer and Dashon somehow convinced them that one of them were leaving. They are both going to be fantastic allies for me in the future (God willing I –have- a future) but knowing how easy it is to rile them up is good information to have.
2. Last round, the tribes were switched-up and we gave you guys a break from answering this questionnaire in order to take in the new changes and to get to know your new tribe-mates. How have you made use of this opportunity and how have you managed to bond with the new members of your tribe?
Yes!! I have been working my ass off to get the other people on my team… who I really care very little about… to get to like me! After the mistake that shall not be named I knew that I had to WORK to make it to the merge and get back with my friends, so that has some with hours of making mundane conversation. It concerns me because after ~30 minutes of my ravishing personality people are usually willing to talk some game… not so with these folks. Oh well, in the future I can make myself feel better when I vote them out, they had the chance to have me on their side!
3. There was a lot of confusion during the last immunity challenge and in an iSurv1vor series first, a challenge was scrapped. How quickly did you adapt to this change? What were your initial thoughts of this change from your point of view within the game, given the dynamics of the tribal shuffle?
My initial thoughts were that the one challenge that wasn’t AWFUL got scrapped.
Loooove you Sandy and co. but my God step up your game. The shift to the pathetic Thai flag grabbing business worked out for my team, so it didn’t both me a whole lot. John, Jacob and friends had told me they would throw to keep me safe, but they didn’t HAVE to because math isn’t the forte of Slayer or Dashon who fucked up the challenge for themselves. Multiples of 4 people!! If I were Cody, after seeing the mistake that shall not be named, I would seriously consider throwing the challenge to get me out… but that doesn’t seem to be their plan. So, even though they’re not giving me the time of day, at least they’re not actively working to get me out.
4. Let's talk about this auction. How important is tribal immunity this round? Are there any items catching your eye? How would you finesse bidding on tribal immunity and making a bid on an item that could further your own game alone?
To be brief—EVERY item catches my eye and I want everything. Too much to ask? It once again is fantastic being so close to my friends on the other tribe because I got the inside scoop on what items they were bidding for and how much they were bidding for tribal immunity. Of course it would be fantastic to get tribal immunity, and it would be even BETTER to get both tribal and individual immunity. Assuming we won’t merge any later that 10, that would put me in final 11 and I’d be extremely close to making it to new life in the game. How dismal is it that I’m this concerned with making it to 10th place?? Whatever, taking it one day at a time?? Isn’t that a cute thing to say?
5. Where do you fit in on your new tribe? Are you on the top, somewhere in the middle, or do you find yourself struggling at the bottom at this point in time? Do you see your fortunes changing anytime soon?
Imagine the bottom and dig 50 feet deeper, you might find a severed remain of mine that somehow surfaced above the rest. Maybe I’m being dramatic about my situation, but after having played so many millions of these things back in the day, I have developed a fairly intuitive intuition about when I am in trouble. Seeing as the mistake that shall not be named was the stupidest thing done in the history of n00b E-survivor, it doesn’t take intuition to realize that I’m in trouble the first time I’m in danger. This auction is a really nice time for some changes. I hope to God someone very obviously doesn’t follow through on the tribe’s unified choice to put in at least 30 pesos toward tribal immunity and gets outted… This “person” by the way is Cody. Nowhere in my brain EVER did I think he would follow through on the tribal effort, so I hope that he gets exposed and it makes him squirm. My friends on the other tribe (Sassy, Jacob, John, TQ, and Bryan has been tossed in there too now) have all declared war on Cody… so him making it to the merge would be great for me, but God do I want to bring him down a couple pegs.
6. Rank your new tribe-mates from best to worst and briefly discuss your opinions of each player.
Now that I’m in a legitimate tribe I –guess—I’ll take this question seriously this time.
*1 TJ. He is by far the most intriguing to me. I enjoy talking to him and something about him is distant and attractive and even kind of… seductive? I don’t know, it’s weird. Now, don’t get me confused, TJ would be the first person I would want to get out. He is clearly great at these games and is in a fantastic position to lay low and do well in the game without ever needing any help from me. So, most liked and most feared.
*2 Rich. I could see myself genuinely working with him AND I enjoy his company. I would usually call that an opportunity that doesn’t come around very often, but with so many allies waiting for me on blue team, he is a dime a dozen in this game. I want to keep refining my bond with him so that he will convince the blue people to keep me around.
*3 Joe. He is the guy that would POSSIBLY see an advantage for working with me, as long as Jacob and TQ continue to work together on the other team and the idea of a partner alliance stays alive. He is a sweet guy… but kinda boring. I’m starting to understand why he and Cody get along so well… there’s only so much interest I can pretend to have in Pokemon card tournaments and the guy that he almost was dating 2 years ago.
*4 Zavi. I usually forget he exists, to be honest. I love him and hope he is down to work with me but with all the madness flying around I haven’t had time to entertain his fantasies. I do like the kid but if he has to go in order for me to stay around, I won’t be upset.
*5 Billy. Can you say “stick in the mud”? It’s hard for me to even try with him, you’d think someone who works at an airport would have some fun stories to tell or have a personality to grab onto, but he gets lost in the mass of people. Of course, it would help me if he liked me lots, so I need to keep trying with him.
*6 Cody. I’m sure you can refer to Jacob’s confessional and get more information on Cody that I care to even think about… but I hate that he is so transparent and smarmy. I also hate that my friends spend so much time lamenting his power in the game. Basically he sucks, but I spend time and energy talking to him because I can use any help that I can get.
7. Now that you have discussed your own tribe, what do you think of the opposing tribe? Do you think they are unified, or do you think there might be some tension or cracks that you might be able to exploit in future?
I LOVE THE OPPOSING TRIBE. As everyone knows. Their tribe, my tribe, deaf-mutes who pay attention to screen-caps… everyone knows I love them. However, the way that it’s working out, it may help me to be separated from all of my friends. This way, they will all want me to work with them if I do make the merge because I won’t have any opportunity to hurt their feelings. Of course, if I don’t make the merge that advantage will be no help whatsoever, so we’ll see how my relationship with them will help me out.
8. Now that we are getting closer and closer to a merge, have you been planning for the long haul or have you been taking it round-by-round so far? What are your next plans moving forward?
For the first three rounds I was planning FAR into the future… at this point its round by round at best. If I do make the merge I think I should be in a decent position to make it far into the game, but getting there has been a struggle.
