The original plan was to throw the challenge, but who can throw the scavenger hunt one!? It's way too much fun. Also, the other team is starting to feel real shady at this point and I don't even know if I want them to be safe this time.

Here's the scoop, John let me know that Bryan told Sassy (who told Jacob) that TQ told him that he was in danger, spurring him to buy the idol at their last tribal. I don't now how valid this is of course, but if TQ did that, it means major problems for my game because he didn't let me in on his plan. When I came into this time I was completely down with the Q--final 2 or bust. I have been playing with a finals of he and I in mind the entire time. It is logical that he would want Bryan around if he feared how close Jacob/John and Jacob/Sassy are, but its problematic if he isn't letting me in on his plans because that means he doesn't trust me.

A sign to show how much I've matured over the years: I haven't said a word to TQ to confront him. Typical Kurtis would have been way more impulsive and put stress on the situation to gain pity and fall into the victim role, but holding back is much brighter to do in this situation. Because of this turn in events, I'm giving my all and showing my sexiness in every picture I can get for the scavenger hunt. Time to stop worrying about the other team and play with the folks I have here. I love the blue team people--they are my friends, they are exciting, they make me laugh...but they're also proving to be shady little devils. Looking out for myself and trying to win immunity for a tribe that doesn't really care for me is the situation I'm in right now, I have to own it. It's best for me to save my individual immunity for when I absolutely need it, that time is not now.

All this being said, if Jacob applies himself and doesn't get super lazy (huge possibility), the other team could totally take this one on merit. If so, it looks like Zavi chose not to use his express pass this round and he could very well take off if the powers that be decide so. That being said, I think that I'm fostering a genuine relationship with Joe (as painstaking as it has been to talk to someone so dull) that could mean I stick around a while. Joe is playing an EXCELLENT game. He has a three way deal locked up with Rich and Billy, has me around his finger, and talks to Cody regularly. After lots of light, shameless flirting, I think he is willing to share some secrets with me and want to work with me in the future. He let me know today that Billy has the black rock, Joe has the steal, and he thinks TJ has the cracks because of his new signature on the boards... can you say BRILLIANCE!? I hope it's like an STD... if you saw the pictures TJ has been posting you'll understand that it isn't completely implausible.

I'm glad that they game is heating up and hope that I am slowly fading into the background as people focus on the powers and bigger fish to fry. I wish I had more control, but I really sunk myself a couple rounds ago, which I'm sure you know nothing about. Still in recovery mode.

This gives you an idea of the insanity going on with the other team that I'm trying to distance myself from. I'm extremely bummed out that TQ lied to me and am trying to reformulate a game plan as I go. I really would like to see a blue/green (Jacob, Zavi, John, Joe, Rich, Billy, MEEEE) alliance for a while, but Cody will be gunning for that as well.
My prediction is that we will lose this one... then the fun will really begin,

So I'm ready for John to go... if not this round, then the first round after the merge while I'm still immune. So... I resorted to working with the devil--I can be Cody's bitch and fill him in on alllll the drama if it means taking John out.

Plan "Enact Shady Kurtis Mode" is in full force. I have played nicey-nice with Sassy and Jacob, talked end game agreements with Joe and Cody, and have rekindled my relationship with TQ all in order to try and get John out ASAP. I don't know why I am this annoyed by him... but I think the way he gets emotional and is unable to control his emotion before logically thinking things through really annoys me. I hate when people victimize themselves, and I hate even more when they villainize me in the process. If you want me to make you a victim, don't you worry--I will.

Anyway, I approached TQ and basically called him out on lying and let him know that he needs to work if he wants to stay in. Jacob and co. are weary of me, but I know the four of them have an agreement to get TQ out. Sounds like Jacob tried to convince TQ that he was the swing vote between Sassy/Bryan and Jacob/John, but I know better. I think his best plan of action is to convince at least two of the others that he got pesos from Cody. Of course, it would be even sweeter if he actually *did* get pesos from Cody, but I think Cody is too savvy and untrusting to go for that. 

While my optimum world would include TQ blindsiding John this round, I understand that best move for him would be to work with Jacob's flighty nature and take out Bryan. It would be sweeter to take out John myself next round anyway. I know I'm coming across as a vengeful bitch right about now, but I feel like I'm just now beginning to play like I did 5 years ago. I have lots of options and have pretty much recovered from the n00b screen-shot mistake. Not only do I want John out because of his 5 year-old emotional maturity, but also because he is a good player who should have been targeted the first couple tribals. I think I really had gone soft for a while there... but Kurtis is back and there's no stopping him now.
